Sterilizers for hairdressers
The Artecno products range offers hairdressing equipment, including UVC sterilizers for brushes, combs and scissors and the innovative UVC LED sterilizer with LED technology certified by the University of Padua. Not all UV rays have a sterilizing action and only the UV-C rays are considered germicidal.
This type of rays has a specific wavelength that destroys microorganisms making them harmless, and thus preventing reproduction and the related generation of dangerous diseases.

What are the UV-C rays?
UV-C rays belong to one of the categories with which ultraviolet rays are classified.
Differently from the others, they have a specific wavelength, between 100 and 280 nanometers (billionths of a meter), and they are classified as germicidal and virucidal, capable of inactivating bacteria, viruses and protozoa. How do the UVC sterilizers work?
All the models of sterilizer for brushes, scissors and combs realized by Artecno use the germicidal properties of UV-C radiations with a 9 watt lamp that kills a great quantity of bacterias and disables the virus. The exposure time is at least 10 minutes per side with standard models, 4 minutes for LED model, only the side hit by the light is disinfected.

The sanitization occurs only in the first drawer with an exposure time of only 10 minutes.
